The ATOMEXPO international forum is the main event in the global nuclear industry.
The biggest exhibition and business platform for discussing the current state of the nuclear industry and forming trends for its further development are formed. Held since 2009.

That will make our most daring hopes and wishes come true.

Generation IV nuclear energy systems are capable to change nuclear energy radically, primarily due to the new level of safety, expansion of fuel variety and significant reduction of radioactive waste. Generation IV requirements apply not only to reactors and NPP but to the whole nuclear power system, which should perform in the closed nuclear fuel cycle. At the same time, for widespread implementation, it is necessary that their commercial efficiency meets the needs of potential customers. Two-component nuclear power becomes more and more real: Russia, China and India are building and operating fast reactors, while France, Japan, Korea and USA are developing them. Within 30 years, large-scale advancements in fusion technologies will bring us closer to harnessing the unlimited energy of fusion. Scientists are mainly focused on containment of high-temperature plasma and development of materials to withstand extreme operating conditions.
