Construction of Unit 3 of Zhangzhou NPP (Zhangzhou) with the Hualong One reactor has begun in China.
According to CNNC Corporation, the date for the first concrete on the unit is 22 February 2024. The second phase of the plant will also include the fourth unit with the Hualong One reactor.
Thus, 12 units with Hualong One reactors are currently under various stages of construction in China, including three at the Zhangzhou site.
